Update, November 25, 9:28am EST: A report from Wall of Sound alleges that the leaked tour dates are faked, put together by a fan. Oh well. Sorry, everyone! We’ll update you when dates have officially been posted, if there are any more.
What appears to be the admat for Rage Against the Machine’s 2020 reunion tour has been making the rounds on Twitter today after the band’s official Instagram account posted it last night, November 23, and quickly deleted it.
Additional tour dates have been expected since earlier this month when the band announced they were reuniting for five shows, including headlining appearances at each of Coachella’s two weekends.
If the admat is legit, Rage Against the Machine are scheduled to perform at Hellfest in France, Rock in Rio in Brazil, Riot Fest in Chicago and Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY (one of the Danny Wimmer festivals at which Metallica will headline two nights), all of which we’d imagine would be in a headlining capacity.
The tour is scheduled to visit Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Colombia, Brazil and additional dates in the U.S. next fall. Venues have not yet been disclosed, but an announcement is presumably imminent.
Including the initial five dates, the band’s current touring plans for 2020 look as follows.
